Uninstall unsuccessfull

I have been using Rankmath, and I am in a development situation where I need to remove all unnecessary pluggins. So Rankmath along with many others, must go. I’m working to completely clean up site eliminating database bloat. (It may be re-installed later) I followed the instructions by adding the line to the functions.php file, and the messages appeared saying it’s clearing everything BUT when I go into the database via phpmyadmin, all the rankmath tables are still there and data has not been cleared!
It’s disappointing that the uninstall did not do what it said (but I’m used to this, basically everything fails at first, and there’s ALWAYS something.) Probably a permission issue. But I am assuming I can take some steps manually. I just wanted to get the word from the experienced support team – can I simply delete (DROP) these tables safely without any adverse effects? I had a screenshot but it’s probably easier to list plain text:
