Hello! I’ve just reinstalled RankMath and imported data from SEOPress/SEOPress Pro. I’m having trouble toggling any of the modules On in the dashboard that are currently off. When I toggle it ‘On’ the toggle keeps spinning and doesn’t toggle on.
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I troubleshooted and the problem still happens with only the default theme and no other plugins activated.

I checked your site and while trying to activate the modules, I get the following in the console:

.Could you please share some FTP access so we can dig deeper into this.
Looking forward to helping you.

Hello,
I was just checking in to see if you were able to find anything out about this issue.
Hello,

Thanks.
Thank you for your speedy reply! I’ll wait to hear back from you.
Thanks!
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
The reason for this issue was due to some rules on your
.htaccess
file. After disabling the current file and using a default one we can make changes to the modules and enable and disable at will.
We have left the old file renamed at the root of your website with the following name:
.htaccess_old_rm
So, in order to see what rule is exactly causing this, you can copy from that file the rules one by one and test the modules to see which one is causing this.
Currently, the default file looks as follows:
# BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPress
Hope this helps solve your issue and clarify any doubts.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you require any further assistance.
Thank you so much! I’m grateful and relieved you were able to fix this issue for me.
I had others issue with this plugin months ago specifically, I was unable to change/update the focus keyword on my pages. whenever I would update the keyword and save, the original keyword would appear after refreshing the page.
This started happening again since I reinstalled RankMath a couple days ago and I was worried I’d have to migrate back over to Yoast!
Uploading the default .htaccess has fixed all of the issues!
Thank you so much for all your help!
Best,
