    I am Unable to Sumbit sitemap to google search console. When I click on HTML TAG verfiy it shows the popup We couldn’t find your verification meta tag. Our site is currently on maintenance mode. I have followed all the steps but still this error showing. Do i need to remove the mainetnenance mode first to submit site map to google search console. Please suggest KIndly do the needful

    Yes, you’ll need to disable maintenance mode as Google Search Console can’t verify your site or access the sitemap while it’s in maintenance mode, as it blocks external crawlers.

    Even if it does access the sitemap while in maintenance mode, it’ll only see maintenance pages or empty content, which can confuse Google and harm indexing.

    It’s best to verify and submit the sitemap only when your site is complete and publicly accessible.
