I would like to report several issues I’ve been experiencing with the login and authentication system on your website, specifically related to Cloudflare Turnstile verification combined with Google OAuth and VPN usage.
Google OAuth Login with VPN
When I try to log in using Google OAuth, the process requires a VPN in certain regions. However, once Turnstile verification appears, it fails to validate when using a VPN, resulting in repeated login failures.
Direct Login with Email & Password
Even when using direct Rank Math credentials, the Turnstile verification creates the same problem. This makes it extremely difficult to log in under different network conditions (with or without VPN).
Password Reset Issues
Changing or resetting my Rank Math password also fails because the Turnstile step blocks the process under VPN.
WordPress Plugin Connection
When WordPress tries to connect to my Rank Math account through the plugin, the same Turnstile + VPN issue occurs, making integration unreliable.
I’ve tested toggling VPN on and off during the OAuth + Turnstile flow, but it rarely succeeds. This makes using Rank Math very frustrating in practice.
By comparison, I use Cloudflare and many other websites that also implement Turnstile, but their configuration feels smoother and does not create such login failures. This suggests that the way Turnstile is deployed on Rank Math’s site may need to be optimized.
👉 My request / suggestions:
Please consider providing reCAPTCHA as an alternative to Turnstile, or
Optimize the current Turnstile deployment to improve login success rates, especially when VPN is required.
At the moment, Rank Math’s site also blocks VPN users in unexpected ways — for example, I cannot even click the subscription button while connected through VPN. This level of restriction is unusual; I’ve never encountered such strict behavior on other professional SaaS platforms.
If these login and access issues cannot be improved, I may have no choice but to switch to Yoast SEO or other SEO plugins, as reliable login and plugin connection are essential for daily use.
I hope the team can review and optimize the security/deployment approach to make the login flow more user-friendly and VPN-compatible.
