Unable to set logo for google

    In the Setup Wizard, Your Site section, I am uploading a properly sized 500x500px logo for google. First, I have been removing the one that is auto chosen, which is the logo for my website. When I choose the properly sized logo and click upload, it appears as it should on the page. After saving the one that i want for google, I return to the Your Site section and upon reloading the page the logo for google has returned to the logo for my website. Note that the logo i choose and save for default social share image has been saving just fine. Although this was never pre populated, which may be a clue to the issue. How can I set my desired logo for google?

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
