  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with setting the 410 status code for your deleted pages. It seems that even after following the process, the pages are still showing as 404 instead of 410.

Currently, any deleted pages are handled by Rank Math as 404 errors, and they will show up in the 404 Monitor. If you have already marked them as 410s, you can safely ignore these errors. In a future update, we will make some changes to Rank Math that will help distinguish these errors better.

If you have followed the steps correctly and the issue persists, we recommend replying to this ticket. A human agent from the Rank Math Support team will be able to assist you further with this matter.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it!

    Hello,

The URL will show a 404 page. However, it will return a 410 status code to inform search engines that the content has been deleted.

Please refer to the screenshot attached in the sensitive data section where the status is already 410.

    Looking forward to helping you.
