unable to do 410 redirection - Support

I have deleted a few blog posts and want to do 410 redirections. When I tried doing it, I’m able to see only “UPDATING” button for a long time (see picture).

Please help in doing the updation. Thank you.

3. Configure the Redirection: In the Redirections page, paste all the URLs you want to set to the 410 status code into the Source URLs field. After that, select the 410 Content Deleted option under the Maintenance Code.
4. Save Changes: Once you have configured everything, scroll down and click on the Add Redirection button to save your changes.
If you continue to experience issues with the "UPDATING" button, it may be helpful to check for any plugin conflicts or server issues that could be causing this delay. You might also want to try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.

Hello Rakibuzzaman,

I tried the steps given in the video. But it did not work.

I have updated all of the plugins. I noticed a critical site health issue and resolved. That is – the WP debug was enabled before. I fixed the issue in WP Config file by turning it to false.

After that, I’m able to see the button changing to “updated” upon clicking, but it is not getting added to the redirection list – which means that the 410 redirection did not take place.

In the troubleshooting mode, even with all the plugins disabled and default theme, I’m unable to update the 410 redirection.

Kindly help in resolving the issue. Thank you.

301 redirection is working as expected. I’m facing issues only in 410 redirection.

It’s been more than 48 hours since I raised the ticket, and the issue is not resolved yet. Can you please get this resolved?

I have no clue if anyone has picked it up and working on it. No updates in 24 hours.

Can someone help me resolve this issue on priority, please?
