Unable to connect to Twitter account

    After running SEO analysis I had a warning that my website has no Twitter connected to it. When I try to enter details under Social Meta, it accepts the Twitter Profile URL, but not the Twitter username – I have carefully checked the username and I have entered the right details. Whenever I press Save Changes the Twitter username is highlighted in blue, as if it is in error. A rerun of SEO analysis confirms that my Twitter account is still not linked.

    Can you let me know what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    It’s still highlighting the field, as if it is in error – but the SEO analysis seems to accept that a twitter account is attached. I was able to add LinkedIn profile, no problem. I guess the ticket is now closed. Thanks.
