Unable to Change Password – Google Login Issue

    Hello Rank Math Support,

    I signed up and logged into Rank Math using my Gmail account (t*************@g********). I am trying to change my password by entering a new strong password and confirming it. The system shows the password as “Strong”, but it still does not save.

    I have already entered my Gmail password in the “Current Password” field as instructed. Still, nothing happens — no confirmation or password update.

    Please assist me in updating my password successfully, or let me know if I need to take any further steps.

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with changing your password. Since you signed up using your Gmail account, it’s important to note that Rank Math uses Google authentication, which means you may not have a separate password for your Rank Math account.

    If you need to change your password, you might have to do it through your Google account settings instead. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Go to your Google Account settings.
    2. Navigate to the Security section.
    3. Under "Signing in to Google," select "Password" and follow the prompts to change your password.

    Hi Support Team,

    Thank you for looking into my issue.

    Just to confirm again – I logged into Rank Math using my Gmail account. I tried to change my password by entering a strong new password, and also entered my Gmail password in the “Current Password” field. The password strength showed “Strong”, but clicking “Save Changes” does nothing.

    Please let me know if I need to disconnect Gmail login first or take any other action to make this work.
