Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing. To create two separate sitemaps for your community and main website using Rank Math, you can follow these general steps:
-
Enable Sitemaps in Rank Math: Ensure that the sitemap feature is enabled in your Rank Math settings. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
-
Configure Sitemaps for Different Post Types: In the Sitemap Settings, you can choose which post types to include in your sitemaps. For your community portal, you would want to ensure that the post type used by FluentCommunity is selected to be included in the sitemap. Similarly, make sure that your blog posts are also included in the sitemap for the main website.
-
Multiple Sitemaps: Rank Math automatically generates multiple sitemaps based on the content types you select. You can have one sitemap for your community posts and another for your blog posts. Each will be accessible via the sitemap index file, typically found at `https://rankmath.com/kb/configure-sitemaps/.
-
Submit to Search Engines: Once your sitemaps are configured, you can submit the sitemap index URL to Google Search Console and other search engines to ensure they index your content properly.
If you encounter any difficulties or need further assistance with specific settings, please reply to this ticket with any additional details, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern!

How to Configure Sitemaps in Rank Math – Best Settings and Tips
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.
Unfortunately, right now, it is not possible to generate another sitemap unless you create a sub-domain for thedreamers.club/portal
. As Rank Math counts your sub-domain as a different site, it will automatically create another sitemap for this.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi, thank you for your response. Do you have a recommendation on another plugin or way to add two sitemaps to the site? I’m a bit stuck and would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific plugin recommendation for generating multiple sitemaps on the same domain. If both paths you shared is a separate WordPress installations, you can install Rank Math on both and they will generate the sitemaps respectively.
If not, you might consider manually creating a second sitemap and submitting it to Google Search Console. Here’s a handy generator tool you can use.
Hope that helps.
