It appears to be flagging the H1 added to the header for mobile only which is hidden on desktop and tablet – is there a way to fix this? Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I’ve checked your homepage, and indeed you have 2 H1 tags in the source code.

If your theme generates the H1 tag, then you may need to get in touch with them to help you remove the other tag to fix this error.

However, if you don’t want to remove the tag, then you can simply ignore this error in the Analyzer tool.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Thank you. Is it detrimental to have the 2 or does it not make much difference?

    Hello,

If you feel comfortable using multiple H1 tags, then you can ignore the error message. But, we are still going to run that test in the SEO Analyzer tool because we have every reason to believe that the correct way to set up any page is with a single H1 tag.

In terms of SEO, it’s likely that this won’t cause any issues, but your page will not have semantic HTML if you have more than one H1 tag.

Here’s a helpful article you can check for that:

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
