Troubleshooting integration of statistics plug-in

#969335
  • Hello,
I installed the RankMath SEO plug-in on my WordPress site several months ago and I am completely satisfied with it.
For the statistics, I had installed MonsterInsights, which provided me with a Google Analytics code, but this code did not appear in the RankMath statistics. Nevertheless, my overall optimization was 70%.
Following the instructions in the RankMath tutorial, I installed the Google Site Kit plug-in instead.
When I completed the settings, I was assigned a new Google Analytics code which still does not appear in RankMath. The worst part is that my overall optimization has dropped to 30%.

What should I do? Thank you in advance for your response.
    Best regards

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the integration of your statistics plugin. Thank you for raising this concern.

It seems that you are experiencing conflicts between multiple plugins that handle Google Analytics. Since you have switched from MonsterInsights to Google Site Kit, it’s important to ensure that only one plugin is actively managing your Google Analytics code to avoid any conflicts.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Disable Other Analytics Plugins: Make sure that both MonsterInsights and any other analytics plugins are completely disabled. This will help prevent any conflicts with Rank Math.

    2. Check Rank Math Settings: Ensure that the Google Analytics module in Rank Math is properly configured. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics. Here, you should connect your Google account and ensure that the correct permissions are granted.

    3. Verify Google Site Kit Configuration: Double-check that Google Site Kit is correctly set up and linked to your Google Analytics account. You can refer to the Google Site Kit compatibility article for more details on how to configure it alongside Rank Math.

    4. Allow Time for Data to Sync: Sometimes, it may take a little while for data to appear in Rank Math after making changes. Ensure you give it some time after reconfiguring.

    5. Check for Errors: Look for any error messages in your WordPress dashboard or in the console of your browser’s developer tools that might indicate issues with loading the analytics scripts.

If after following these steps you still do not see the Google Analytics data in Rank Math, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and provide more specific guidance.

Thank you for your patience, and we hope to resolve this issue for you soon!

    Hello,
Thank you very much for your immediate response.
In the meantime, I have figured out the cause of the problem: I had used another account to obtain my first Google Analytics code, and it is precisely this account (KrW Business) that must be kept.
I went to Google Analytics and was able to verify that everything was working normally. I guess I’ll have to uninstall Google Site Kit and then reinstall it with my new account.
I’ll get back to you if I have a problem.
Regarding RankMath, the KrW International account will have to be deleted later on to avoid any confusion in the future.
    Thank you very much
    Best regards

    Hello,
Sorry for not having replied sooner, but I had to make several checks before making a decision.
In the end, I removed both MonsterInsights and Site Kit, both equally troublesome. I realized that each one gave its code G- and this was what was disrupting the statistics.
So I adopted the brilliant solution recommended by Jack Cao, which is to use CSS code. It works perfectly.
I will take a closer look at your diagrams to see what I can possibly improve. At the moment, I am consulting my statistics on Google Analytics. My only problem is that I have two G-codes and I am hesitating to delete one of them. I’m waiting to see which one is more consistent.
    Thanks again for your assistance.
A short question for the future: does the basic RankMath subscription make any difference in terms of statistics?
    Best regards
