Trouble with Search Console

    Hi,

    I don’t know if this is an issue with RankMath, but I only installed it about a week ago, so I thought I should check.

    One particular page (one of my biggest traffic bringers) seems to have something weird with Google Search Console. When I try to test the live URL, I get the message “Something went wrong, try again later.” It’s been giving that message for a couple of days. Every other URL from my site that I’ve checked comes up as expected.

    Traffic to that page has gone down quite a bit although I see it still shows up for some searches. I realize it could be a coincidence.

    Is it possible I messed up the page during my website updates or with some setting in RankMath?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    I’ve checked the link you have provided, and it seems that it is already showing on the Google search results page. Your robots.txt is also fine. The post is already included in your sitemap and already set to index.

    In this case, I would suggest removing all your submitted sitemaps in your Google Search Console account and resubmit your main sitemap only /sitemap_index.xml, then give Google some time to recrawl your site.
