Transferring from Yoast to Rankmath

    Hi

    I am transferring from yoast seo plugin to rankmath plugin. I have made the changes & installed all the necessary files for https://nvsvisuals.com/

    My question is after following the guidelines, i have made the necessary changes. But whenever i see in Serps its stills showing the old meta title, & meta description in serps. While after installing the rankmath plugin, i changed the title & description.

    2nd problem is i generated the sitemap.xml using rankmath but my new pages / posts are not appearing in sitemap. It says “sitemap didn’t found”

    PLease help me in this matter.

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    1. Please check the title and description meta of your pages using this handy tool: https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/

    If you see the updated meta generated by Rank Math, then you need to give Google some time to update the details on the SERP.

    2. Your website is still using Yoast’s sitemap. Please enable Rank Math’s sitemap again and follow the steps below: Please follow the steps below:

    2.1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2.2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    2.3. Apply the following filter code to your site.

    
add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
