Limit Links per Sitemap: In the General tab of the Sitemap Settings, you can set a limit on the number of links per sitemap. Although Google allows up to 50,000 URLs, keeping it lower (like 200) can help manage the number of sitemaps generated.

Exclude Specific Posts or Pages: If there are specific posts or pages that you do not want included in the sitemap, you can exclude them by their IDs in the Sitemap Settings.

Check for Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins may conflict with Rank Math and cause issues like this. You can use the Health Check plugin to identify any potential conflicts.

Clear Cache: If you are using a caching plugin, clear your cache after making changes to ensure that the latest sitemap settings are reflected.

Please note that Rank Math’s sitemaps are generated automatically. If you want to exclude or remove URLs, you can set them to noindex:

Also, Rank Math uses the links per sitemap limit to break down sitemaps into smaller parts. We usually recommend the links per sitemap to 200 for faster crawling.

Lastly, you won’t need to submit every sitemap to your Google Search Console as you may need to submit your sitemap index only:
