Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I checked your sitemap and found there are post, page, category, and location sitemaps.
If you want to remove the page sitemap then head over to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Pages and disable the option ‘Include in Sitemap’.
For the location, sitemap disable the option ‘Include KML File in the Sitemap’ under Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Local Sitemap.
Also, your post sitemap is divided into several parts since you have set a limited URL for each sitemap. You can check that under Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Links per Sitemap.
You may set the “Links per Sitemap” option if you wish to adjust how the sitemap pages are generated.
Hope this helps clarify your concern.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks, Links Per Sitemap is 200, is it the default value or should I change it to some other value?
Hello,
We recommend 200 links per sitemap as we’ve observed that Google responds better to smaller pages in sitemaps.
With this in mind, Rank math uses the link per sitemap limit to break down sitemaps into smaller parts.
Since you have 4000 posts on your site and have set the links per sitemap to 200, you can see post-sitemaps named from /post-sitemap1 to /post-sitemap20.
This is done automatically and it helps in having small-sized sitemaps making them easier to crawl.
This will not affect the indexing of your posts or page.
Let us know if you need any further assistance with anything else.
