Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with your Rank Math sitemap while using the Polylang plugin for a multilingual website. Unfortunately, the context provided does not include specific solutions for issues related to the Polylang plugin.
However, we recommend checking the following general steps that might help:
- Ensure that your sitemap is correctly configured in Rank Math and that it includes all translated posts/pages.
- Verify that there are no conflicts with other plugins that might affect the sitemap generation.
- You can also try clearing any cache if you are using a caching plugin.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

Thank ! you How to view a sitemap for an essay writing using a different language ?
Hello,
We’re not exactly sure we understand your question, but you can view your sitemap by going to website.com/sitemap_index.xml – change website.com to your actual website.
If that does not answer your question, then please explain what the issue is more elaborately – you can share images with us by uploading them to an image hosting site like Imgur, and then sharing the generated URL with us here.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you.
I write articles in two languages English and Tamil on my website. First there was a problem with the sitemap, now I did as mentioned above and it was fixed. But in the sitemap comes articles related to English. What to do on the sitemap to view articles related to Tamil
Hello,
Please note that Rank Math typically only deals with adding the default language to your sitemap. Other languages are automatically handled by the translation plugin you use, which adds a hreflang to each page, letting Google know that it is a translated version of another page.
It is not necessary to have the translated pages in your sitemap. This is perfectly acceptable and in line with Google’s guidelines:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/localized-versions
However, if you still wish to do so, you can follow this guide to create a custom sitemap: https://rankmath.com/kb/custom-sitemaps/
We hope this helps clarify the issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
