Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I checked the page source of the URL, there is an additional og:title
added in the page source:
Please check if the theme or any other plugin is adding it to the page source.
You can follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
I hope this helps.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi again,
Many thanks for trying to help me, much appreciated.
Before RankMath, I used to have Yoast SEO, and there were some problems with Yoast SEO, not showing correctly.
I think Yoast SEO is the reason to this problem, but I have Deleted the add-on.
Is there a way for me to check that all Yoast SEO files are removed?
Or should I try to add Yoast SEO again and then remove it?
I just don’t want to mess up it all even more.
Kind regards,
Monica
Hello,
As you have deactivated the Yoast plugin, the data from that plugin is not added in the page source.
Some other plugin or the theme must be adding the additional og:title
in the page source.
Please follow the guide I shared in my previous reply to troubleshoot the issue.
Here is a tutorial you can follow: https://youtu.be/FcIWRhcUP2c
If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I had written a long comment, but it was removed when adding sensitive data 🙁
A shorter answer comes here 😉
I have tried the plugin suggested, after enabling Troubleshooting mode” I tried again, but the same error still exists.
After this, I changed the name of the form, but when publishing the page in FB, the term “Hem” is still shown.
Kind regards,
Monica
Hello,
I logged in and checked the website settings.
The theme is adding the second og:title.
Check this screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/wspM2H
If you have an option to disable the OpenGraph Title in the theme, please disable it from there.
If you do not have an option, I’ll suggest you get in touch with the theme provider and ask them to remove the OpenGraph tags added by the theme.
I hope this helps.
Looking forward to helping you.
Wow, many thanks for the informative video.
I will get in touch with the Theme and talk to them.
Kind regards,
Monica
