  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the category not appearing in the tab of your navigator. It seems like you have set the title format correctly, but there could be other factors affecting its display.

Here are a few things to check:

    1. Ensure that the category is published: Sometimes, if a category is not published or is set to private, it may not show up as expected.
    2. Check for caching issues: If you have any caching plugins enabled, try clearing the cache to see if that resolves the issue.
    3. Review your theme settings: Some themes may have specific settings that affect how titles are displayed in the browser tab.

If you have checked these and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

The first issue is related to the fact that you’re using an Elementor template. Elementor templates are used to create pages, but they are not pages themselves. As a result, if you haven’t set the page title (not the template title), Rank Math will not detect the title. You can observe that the titles of your other pages are working fine:

The second error is due to an incorrect format for the archives in the breadcrumbs, and it appears that the padding character is missing in the settings for breadcrumbs.

Please add the default padding character %s to Rank Math > General Settings > Breadcrumbs > Archive Format. Navigate to the Archive Format and add the following:

    Archives for %s

Once you’ve made these changes, please let us know if you’re still experiencing the same error.

    Best regards

    Hello and thank you
Regarding the title in the tab, the recommended setting was already in place.
I did a test by changing the theme – nothing changed
I did a test by disabling rank math …. and the title is displayed ….
    Do you have a clue?

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The variable %title% should be used on post types. In taxonomies, you should use the variable %term% if you want to output the name of the taxonomy in the metadata.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

thanks a lot – its resolved
