Title and Description in Google

    Hello. I have a site with Rank Math. When I create a post I write a title and description. But when I find my article in Google search I see that Title and Description are different from what I put in description field in Rank Math. As a title Google shows my article name. What can be the problem?

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Can you please check on your website’s page source if the correct meta title and description were rendered?

    You can use this tool for the same as well: https://www.heymeta.com/

    If it matches your settings, then you must check if Google has seen the changes already or not.

    For that, please check when the Google cache was updated for that page:

    b.

    If the cache date is from before adding the new meta title/description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info.

    Using an SEO Audit tool, I can see that your post’s meta description is correct:

    Looking at the cache, it was last cached 5 days ago.

    You have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info. If the date is after you made the changes, you just have to wait it out, and there is no further input needed from your end.
