    hi. please i am having issue with my blog post thumbnails not showing when ever i post them on the any social media platform, my website is 70% built for the purpose of blogging, please help me out. it all my blog post that don’t show thumbnail. this is my website URL : https://www.zwebman.com/blog/

    1. Check if You’ve Added Facebook/Twitter Sharing Images

    Make sure you have added Facebook/Twitter sharing images through the Rank Math Meta Box. You can refer to the following image for guidance:

    2. Image Dimensions & Format

    Ensure that the images you are using meet the required dimensions and formats:

    • Supported Formats: Facebook supports jpeg, png, gif, WebP, and AVIF formats.
    • Recommended Size: The recommended image size is 1200px X 630px. If your images are too small or too large, social networks may not display them correctly.

    3. Set Default Open Graph Image

    You can set a default Open Graph image in Rank Math by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math → Titles & Meta → Global → OpenGraph Thumbnail. Click on Add or Upload File to set your image and then click on Save Changes.

    4. Individual Post Settings

    For each post, ensure that you have set a custom Open Graph/Social Preview image by uploading a featured image or using the Rank Math sidebar in the WordPress Block Editor.

    Hello,

    We checked one of the blog pages in the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool and we can see it is returning a 418 error.

    We suggest you get in touch with your hosting provider and make sure the Facebook crawler can access your website without any issues.

    earlier when i installed the rank math plugin on my site all my blogs thumbnails where showing in all social media. so the problem wouldn’t have been from my hosting. i have followed every step and i have setup the seo plugin and my site is well connected to google. the thumbnails are showing perfectly well but only on my WhatsApp and not on any other social media, please help me resolve this problem from your end. thanks.

    Hello,

    We can see that the opengraph image is displayed correctly when we checked one of the posts on WhatsApp shown below:

    However, we notice the opengraph image does not have the appropriate size. Please make sure the opengraph image you’re using has the appropriate size according to the guidelines: https://rankmath.com/kb/open-graph-image-not-displaying/#opengraph-image-not-appearing

    Once done, clear your website and any server-level caching on your site and check this again.
