    Hello,

    Our thumbnails have stopped displaying on google. I have followed your advise but the issue still isn’t resolved. I’m not sure if this is a RankMath problem but several other RankMath users whom I have spoken to also seem to be effected.

    Can you please provide some possible solutions as this is having a significant impact on our traffic.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please note that Rank Math doesn’t have any control over how images in the SERP results are displayed and search engines display them as per their will and it mostly depends on the keyword search term and the website authority.

    In this case, you may try to add relevant ALT text to the featured image or image you wanted to show, and chances are search engines will refer to it.

    You can also make sure that the images are optimized by following this guide from Google: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/google-images

    If Google sees the images and deems them worthy of being indexed, it will do so automatically.
