    To the Rank Math Support Team,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    I am experiencing an issue with the management of my site, ulumulhadis.id. While the thumbnail images appear correctly when sharing articles on Facebook, they do not show up at all on WhatsApp.

    I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue so that the thumbnail images can show up when I share the article links.

    2. Open Graph Tags: Check if you have set the Open Graph tags correctly for your articles. You can do this through the Rank Math Meta Box by adding Facebook/Twitter sharing images. Here’s how:

      • Go to your post in the WordPress editor.
      • Look for the Rank Math Meta Box and ensure that you have added the correct social preview image.

    3. Caching Issues: Sometimes, caching plugins or server-side caching can prevent updated images from displaying. Try clearing your cache and see if that resolves the issue.

    4. WhatsApp Caching: WhatsApp caches images, so if you’ve changed the image after sharing the link, it might still show the old image. You can use the Facebook Sharing Debugger to scrape your URL again, which may help refresh the cache.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We checked your homepage and looks like Rank Math is not able to generate the og:image meta tag.

    In this case, please make sure the opengraph image you’re using has the appropriate size and format according to the guidelines: https://rankmath.com/kb/open-graph-image-not-displaying/#num-4-2-image-dimensions-image-format

    Once done, please try to clear your website cache including any server-level cache, and check again.

    Also, please note that the WhatsApp platform has a limit on the size of the image and it works best for images that are below 300Kb in size, even though it’s possible that some images above that might show sometimes but it’s very finicky and not consistent.
