  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

These URLs are prone to duplicate content as they have thin content and will waste your website’s crawl budget.

To set them to noindex, head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Misc Pages and enable the Noindex Search Results.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    thank you for your answer,

but this option is already enabled, (image 3. sensitive data)

it has been enabled all the time.

May you check further for this issue?

    Hello,

The affected URLs are being generated by using the filters and sorting on your site. These URLs are not included in the sitemap, so Google is indexing them through some other method.

For the pages that are paginated, please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Misc Pages and enable the Noindex Paginated Pages and Noindex Archive Subpages options.

For the other URLs, you will have to add the Disallow rule in your robots.txt file to block them from being crawled by Google.

    Disallow: /*?

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I can still seee that situation is not changed – (see 4 image sensitive data)

    and i have added

    Disallow: /*?
    code to our robots .txt.

    Hello,

Please clear your website cache and give Google some time to recrawl your entire site. Please note that this might take a while before Google will be able to recrawl your site and remove those affected pages from the GSC report.

If the issue persists, please let us know and we will further help you investigate the issue.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I found on google that someone used this code:

    Disallow: /*?*

    not Disallow: /*?

which one is right method to use ?

    thank you,

    because the problem still persists.

    Hello,

The /*? should do it but since it doesn’t work on your end, you may try the /*?*. Please clear your website cache again and allow Google to recrawl your website. Please note that recrawling your website might take days or even weeks depending on the crawling budget Google has allocated for you.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.
