There is absolutely NO way on earth i can disable every single plugin i have just to try and get the SEO title to update on a single one of my articles. However, I dont think this is the actual problem as the description updated fine, but the title simply refuses to save. There have been complaints for years about this exact problem,

I was previously a pro user , and was going to sign back up. but the fact that simple things like this are so annoyingly difficult to work out as a non-developer is absolutely insane. Please FIX the code, there is no other plugin that’s ever made it this difficult just to get SEO titles to save!

I understand your frustration. It’s not right that updating the SEO title is so hard, especially when the description works fine. Thanks for sharing your experience , hopefully, they fix this soon to make it easier for everyone.

Yes, there has got to be a problem with the plugin code itself. If the SEO description saved, I don’t see why the Title is being so difficult. I really hate the solution of disabling everything and then going through like 40+ plugins 1 at a time to try and figure out if MAYBE one of them is an issue.

I’ve also used loads of SEO plugins over the years, none of them make it quite as complicated as RankMath.

However, we’ve tried to check your website with the Health Check plugin, but unfortunately, it is not working properly on your site.

This is extremely time consuming for such a simple problem. And what do you mean you can’t replicate the problem? The login is provided along with the post I’m trying to change the SEO description of. If you “can’t replicate” it, then that would mean the problem is solved, and its not.

What is wrong with the health check plugin? I installed it and removed it yesterday because it seems useless

Actually, I just figured out what the issue is. Its the emoji. 🙄 after all that… FFS

There’s only a handful that are actually useable in titles and descriptions apparently
