Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with the cover photo not showing up when shared on Facebook. There are a few reasons this might happen:
-
Check if the Facebook/Twitter Sharing Images are Added: Ensure that you have added the Facebook sharing image through the Rank Math Meta Box. You can refer to the following image for guidance:
-
Image Dimensions & Format: Make sure that the image you are using meets Facebook’s requirements. Facebook supports jpeg, png, and gif formats for Open Graph images, and Rank Math also supports WebP format. The recommended image size is 1200px X 630px. If your image dimensions are too small or too large, Facebook may not display it correctly.
-
Set Open Graph Image for the Specific Page: If you haven’t set a specific Open Graph image for the page in question, you can do so by editing the page in the WordPress Editor and setting the Open Graph thumbnail in the Rank Math Metabox.
-
Facebook App ID Configuration: Although optional, configuring a Facebook App ID in Rank Math can help with sharing issues. You can set it under Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Social Meta.
For more detailed instructions, you can check out our guide on Open Graph/Social Preview Image Issues.
If you’ve checked all these points and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

I have followed everything you told me to do but the image still does not appear.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.
Facebook is marking the image as Corrupted:
It seems like the issue is occurring because of the non-English character on your image file name. We’ve recently seen this issue with Arabic and some other languages.
For initial troubleshooting, please try to change the file name in English and after clearing your website cache, check the URL again with the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool and see if that works for you.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

This page uses an English name as the cover image, but when sharing to Facebook, the image still does not appear.
Hello,
That URL has a canonical pointing to a different page so Facebook tries to follow that canonical and it shows the image from the canonical page which is the following:
https://carecleans.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Rectangle-1-1-2.webp
If you want the image from that page to show you need to remove the custom canonical from the homepage.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
