    Rank Math free

    Hello to all,

since yesterday I have a problem with my WordPress Websites using Rank Math Plugin:

this is the Mail i got from WordPress:

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Rank Math SEO.

First, visit your website (https://innodima.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://innodima.com/wp-admin/user-new.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further….

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.6.2
Current theme: Innomerce Child (version 1.2.6.1599473266)
Current plugin: Rank Math SEO (version 1.0.59)
    PHP version 7.4.15

    Error Details
    =============
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 11 of the file /mnt/web522/c1/59/57676259/htdocs/WordPress_04/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/modules/sitemap/class-sitemap-index.php. Error message: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the script

The Website Innodima.com was crashed yesterday 1 time. I did load my backup and say no automatical update to Rank Math Plugin.
    After this all was fine.

    Now today the same…

After i load my backup i can reach my page.

Same Problem i have today with farmfoo4foodlovers.com and emirates4you.de

    Can you help me please?

    Greetings Sylvia

    Rank Math agency

    Hello,

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Please disable the plugin (Rank Math) and activate it again and see if the issue is still there.

If that doesn’t help, then assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Do let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!

Thank you for your response. Yes, I can see my websites are online. 2 websites are still in edit mode, so they haven’t been online yet. And I’m wasting valuable time completing the edit. Because I am having trouble logging into my WordPress dashboard on all of my 4 pages. I am redirected to a faulty website. And that only for my 4 WordPress pages. I can call up all other websites without any problems. So we’re pretty sure that this problem was only caused by a faulty plugin. My hosting company is trying to find out which plugin installed this redirect and where the faulty redirect is stored. The thing is, WordPress is seeing a problem with your plugin. I have already deactivated your plugin on 2 of my websites, but the faulty redirect was already there. So there is not much I can do. On 2 other websites, I still can’t reach the WordPress dashboard to deactivate your plugin. All of this happens after you have a new update. And your plugin is the only one that I have on all of the sites. That made me think the problem came from you, sorry …

Maybe you can check it additional? My hosting company try to eliminate the redirection directly in my database. Hope it will work.

    Hello,

We’re really sorry for the trouble you are facing!

As you said that the redirection/issues are still there when Rank Math is disabled, meaning the issue is not from Rank Math. Also, just to mention that we have not come across similar cases after our latest update.

Could you please confirm whether you performed the plugin-theme conflict test that I suggested to you above in this ticket? If yes, then please tell us what was the outcome of the test.

Please let us know if your host was able to narrow down the plugin/theme which was causing the redirection.

In the meantime, if you do have another question in the future, please feel free to reach out, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.

    Thank you.

    Thanks.

Thank you for always replying so quickly.

As of now, my hosting company is still trying isolating the problem and this may take a while.

And I really don’t mean to say you caused the problem. It was just that all 4 websites that were affected had the following in common:
    1. they all have the same hosting company (Strato)
    2. They all use WordPress
    3. all are edited with Elementor
    4. all use Rank Math and All in One WP Security
    5. i did not add a new plugin in the last days, exept on Farmfood4foodlovers. There i did install Updraft Plus to do backups not only with my hosting company. But only on this page, not the 3 others.

It was probably just a coincidence that WordPress suddenly send me an email warning about your plugin. Of course, it is possible that plugins are not compatible (only I don’t use the same plugins everywhere on my websites and I also use different themes (2 are ELementor free Theme, one theme was from AIT and one from another Theme website) but have the problem on all 4 pages).

And maybe 2-3 problems come together, which confuses the whole thing very much. For example, why the WordPress application is not working. This could indicate a WordPress problem.

The problem with logging into my WordPress dashboard is still there, even though I already excluded Rank Math from automatic updates and then deactivated it.

But my hosting company said that the nasty redirect has already been written to my database. And of course, deactivating your plugin did not delete it. So my hosting company is trying to find it and delete it manually.

Please don’t be angry with me, we’re just trying to find out what actually happened. 2 websites are online and I just cannot access my WordPress dashboard, I can no longer edit 1 website that was still in edit mode because I can no longer log into the dashboard. And the 4th page has completely disappeared, nothing works anymore.

And I couldn’t do your test because I can’t log into my dashboard. I already have the Site Health plugin, but I couldn’t look there because of the speed of the crashes. I will now wait and see what my hosting company finds out and I will not try any further logins until then.

    Hello,
