Taxonomy pages are key pages

    Hi

Our taxonomy pages are key pages of many of our sites.

RankMath doesn’t seem to consider or analyse the content of the taxonomy pages, description, page title etc like other plugins do.

Is there a way to enable this?

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch and I am extremely sorry about the trouble this might have caused.

The bigger part of categories optimization comes from the pages included more than the category by itself. With this in mind, category pages are not considered to require much optimization, also the reason there is only one keyword to be added and only a few tests. You should aim to optimize the pages/posts you include in your categories.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi Michael,

I completely disagree. Pages have different target keywords and are optimised in a completely different way to a category.

Why not give users the option to enable the full report and have multiple target keywords like Yoast does?

    Hello,

Sorry to disappoint but that feature is unfortunately not available at this time.

With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.
