tag archive titles and descriptions does not show respective %tag% %title%

    if you go title & meta settings -> Tags

    in the Tag Archive Titles, Tag Archive Descriptions – in the drop-down, %tags%, %tags% and title% does not work. means, it does not respective tags/words titles when I test it on SEO checking tools.

    I want to use Tag Archive Titles %tag% %tags% % %title% – website name -it shows only website name, not the respective tag, tags, tile in front of it and even same for description too.
    I tried one at a time and all three once and used %sep% as well in between, nothing worked. Am I using it wrong or something else need to be done before using it?

    -it shows in the example which is below the title archive titles and descriptions…but not on the SEO checking tools. can you please suggest to me, how can get it done?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    The %Tag% and %Tags% variables will display the current post’s tag of the current post and will not work in Tag Archives pages. You can use the %term% variable to display the tag archive’s title or %term_description% for its description.

    Thank you so much. It really helped. and is there any way that we can do something like this to set the focus keyword automatically as %term% for all the tags?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

    Unfortunately, that option is not yet available in the Rank Math options. However, you can customize this filter to automate your keywords to use the tag title for your tag archive pages.

    even I filter it, it won’t show up to the search engine. right?

    because I do not see any of the keywords I entered, are not showing up in viewsource of the browser.

    Hello,

    The focus keywords are used for the SEO tests performed by Rank Math, we do not add them to the source code of the page.

    This is the reason you do not see the keywords in the view-source in the browser.

    I understand that rank math uses them to check the SEO score. if the keywords are not there in the source code. Google won’t see them. what is the use of having them to show the score for rank math users?

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back.

    Google doesn’t need to see your focus keywords. The score you see indicates how good the content of your page or post is to be ranked in search results based on the focus keyword you set. The major purpose of the focus keyword is to create content around it and get it ranked in Google or Bing for that keyword.
