    I’m using RankMath’s Table of Contents block on my WordPress Site and the formatting of the sections adds spaces between headings or subheadings I don’t want to display in the TOC. Is there a way to prevent the spaces for displaying?

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Could you please share the affected URL (if already published) so we can check the spacing?

    Meanwhile, you may try this example CSS code to your website in an attempt to fix it:

    .wp-block-rank-math-toc-block nav > ul,
    .wp-block-rank-math-toc-block nav > ol{
      padding-top: 150px;
      padding-bottom: 150px;
    }

    Please refer to this guide on how to apply CSS to your WordPress site: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-easily-add-custom-css-to-your-wordpress-site/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    You can add the following custom CSS on your website and see if that works for you:

    .wp-block-rank-math-toc-block nav > ul > li > ul{
        display: none !important;
    }

    Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
