It looks like resetting the font size fixes the problem. It only occurs when changing the typography font size to S.M,L,or XL

It’s important to note that by default our TOC won’t add any custom styling to the entries and the headings will follow the same styling of the theme you are using for lists and headings.
The options you mention increase the font size according to the settings of the theme and if the theme doesn’t include a proper line-height set for the headings it could cause this issue when the headings need to overflow to another line.
