Support for multiple domain redirection

    Hello,

    I am experiencing an issue with setting up a specific redirection in the Rank Math SEO plugin.

    Details:

    Source URL: features/
    Destination URL: https://www.website.eu/solutions/
    I am using WPML with different domains for each language. My goal is to apply this redirection only to the .eu domain. However, the redirection is also being applied to the .be domain (i.e., https://www.website.be/features/ is redirecting to https://www.website.eu/solutions/), which I do not want.

    Could you please assist me in configuring the redirection so that it only applies to the .eu domain? Is that something possible?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    At the moment, Rank Math’s redirections module may not fully support the specific use case you’ve described with WPML multi-domain setups. However, our development team is constantly working on improving the plugin and adding new features.

    To separate the SEO data/settings for each of the website versions, you may have to use a WordPress multisite setup. Once you have set up multisite, you will be able to set up redirections and analytics for each subsite domain.

    Using different domains in different languages, it’s very hard to optimize with our plugin because each website is treated differently.

    WPML has that functionality built into it, but our plugin was not designed to optimize a collection of websites from a single place as the SEO for each one should be unique.

    Alternatively, you may use .htaccess redirects to achieve the redirection you have shared above:
    https://www.semrush.com/blog/301-redirect-htaccess/
