Sudden Deindexing of Articles in Google Search Console

#998399
  • I have recently noticed that my articles are not being indexed in Google Search Console. The status shows “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed”, despite there being no apparent technical issues. Additionally, several of my previously indexed articles are now appearing as not indexed.

Could you please help me understand why this is happening and what steps I can take to resolve it?

    Looking forward to your insights.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the sudden deindexing of your articles in Google Search Console. The status "Crawled – Currently Not Indexed" indicates that Google has crawled your pages but has not indexed them yet. This can happen for various reasons, including quality issues, duplication, or simply needing more time to evaluate the pages.

Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Content Quality: Ensure that your content is unique, valuable, and comprehensive. Thin or duplicate content may lead to deindexing.

    2. Internal Linking: Use strong internal links from high-traffic and relevant pages on your site to help Google understand the importance of the pages you want indexed. You can refer to our guide on internal linking for more details.

    3. Evaluate New Pages: If the affected pages are new, it might just take more time for Google to process and index them.

    4. Review Technical Aspects: Even if there are no apparent technical issues, double-check for any potential problems such as slow load times or robots.txt restrictions that might prevent crawling.

    5. Use URL Inspection Tool: Utilize the URL Inspection Tool in Google Search Console to get more specific reasons why your URLs are not being indexed.

For more detailed guidance, you can refer to our article on how to fix the "Crawled – Currently Not Indexed" error.

Still the issue is not solved there is no technical issue it says crawled currently not index. My content is not duplicate and my content has everything which is needed still it’s not solved

    Hello,

Please note that the “Crawled – currently not indexed” status means Google has crawled your page but has not indexed it yet. Finding a certain number of URLs with this status is entirely normal because Google does not index all the URLs we submit.

This isn’t an error, but there are some reasons for excluding the pages from its index.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Still I am experiencing indexing issues with my website for the past 6-7 days. None of my newly published articles are getting indexed, and several previously indexed pages have been deindexed.

I have thoroughly reviewed all settings and do not see any issues on my end. Additionally, Google Search Console does not indicate any errors—everything appears to be functioning correctly. However, despite this, my pages are not getting indexed as they were before.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide any insights or solutions.

    Hello,

If you have already set your pages to index, then it is just a waiting game before Google decides to include the URL in the search results pages. No SEO plugin can force Google to index something they don’t want to.

Also, please note that Google considers various factors while indexing. Your frequency of posting and your site’s domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing new web pages.

Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two), and that has a direct effect on how soon (i.e. how efficiently) your content can be indexed.

With that said, we have found that barring any issues like copied/DMCA/low-quality content issues. So, we request you kindly wait for the SERP to include your site on search results pages.

    Looking forward to helping you.
