Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
Could you please also share the affected URLs to further check them? You can add them in the sensitive data section

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.
Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I searched the websites on Google and the websites were not displayed in the search results. The last two websites (that you’ve provided in the sensitive data section) are indexed on Google but the pages (links of which you provided,) aren’t.
I then tested the website on Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool and the websites are eligible for Rich Results. I also checked the source of the page and I was unable to find any No Index tags.
Please follow the below pre-check list:
1. Make sure the post is not selected as ‘noindex’ in WP > Page > Your Page > Advanced Tab in Rank Math.
Screenshot:

2. Ensure that the noindex is not selected for Global or Page meta:

3. Check the sitemap settings and check if the pages are setup to be included in the sitemaps:

For more details, please refer to our tutorial guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-index/
Please let us know how that goes.
Thanks.
Dear Prabhat,
Thanks for getting back to me. So we checked the Titles & META settings and the sitemap according to the instructions you gave us. We found no problems there.
One thing that we did discover is that the x-robots tag has the ‘none’ tag included.
See example: https://ibb.co/ThFCgGL
Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up, and sorry for the delay.
If your website’s x-robots-tag is set to none, it simply means noindex/nofollow. You can check this link for more information:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/robots/robots_meta_tag#directives
However, it seems that it is only included in your header file, and your homepage is already set to index. You can also check for noindex tag here to rule out that your page isn’t getting indexed due to a mistake in plugin settings:
https://smallseotools.com/meta-tags-analyzer/
If noindex is not present, then it is just a waiting game before Google decides to include the URL in the index. No SEO plugin can force Google to index something they don’t want to.
With that said, we have found that barring any issues like copied/DMCA/low-quality content issues – Google usually indexes posts within a week so we request you to kindly wait. Google even says that on their official website:
https://i.rankmath.com/QB4Dhl
The above screenshot was taken from this page: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7552505#missing-jobs
So, you have to be a bit patient and allow it some time. If your website isn’t indexed even after a week, you can place a manual indexing request here:
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289
I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
Dear Reinelle,
Thanks for getting back to us. So we had a friend take a look at it and he actually found the problem. So we use a VPS to host our clients’ domains. Each domain has a separate container configured in Docker. Our friend found out that the http header in each container was automatically injected with the x-robots-tag set to ‘none’, ‘no-index’, ‘no-follow’ using middleware.yml. After he removed that we did a live test on the urls in Google Search Console and the problem was solved!
So just to let you know that the problem was not caused by RankMath nor Google. I want to thank you and Prabhat for helping us fix this very annoying issue.
Cheers,
Lesley
