submited url marked ‘noindex’

    Hello,

    Today I got an email from Google stating ‘Coverage issues detected’. In my Google Search console under Coverage I find 3 URLs marked ‘noindex’. I checked the advanced SEO settings in Elementor for these 3 URLs, and all have the checkbox ‘Index’. In the Rank Math settings under SEO Titles & Meta, the checkbox for Pages is also set on ‘Index’. What am I missing? Why do (only) these 3 URLs show as ‘noindex’?

    And also noticed that when searching for my website, it doesn’t really show up in the search results. And when something shows up, it’s an old page that I put in the bin, so when clicking on it, it gives the ‘this page doesn’t seem to exist’… Do I just have to wait a bit longer that my website has been more crawled?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve checked the pages you have provided, and it seems that they are already set to index even in the page’s source code.

    In this case, please remove all the sitemaps you have submitted in your Google Search Console account and resubmit your main sitemap /sitemap_index.xml then give Google some time to recrawl your website.

    By doing so, those old pages on the search results will also be removed once Google recrawls your website.
