Structured Data activation causes errors in Google Search

I had Schema (structured data) turned on, and noticed some pages received a “text size too small” and “clickable elements too close” error

With some investigation, I found with Notepad++ Compare, it seems the schema data placed at the beginning of blog articles caused this error to occur. Once I turned off the module, the error cleared.

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please note that the data added by the Schema shortcode takes the styling and font size from your theme. If Google is giving you an error for that and you want to use it on your posts, please use the CSS to change the font size of the Schema data and fix the issue.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

Hi Jaideep. Thank you for your reply.

If thats the case wouldn’t my whole theme have this error? I disables the schema feature on Rankmath and it was resolved.

    Please advise.

    Hello,

Can you please share some of the affected page URLs with us so we can further check it on our end?

    Looking forward to helping you.
