Strip Category Base does not seem to be working

    Hi There,
    I have enabled Strip Category Base under General Setting. However, the category is still appearing in the URL. I don’t want that to happen. It was perfectly fine with Yoast SEO but Rank Math destroyed the site structure completely. That’s really bad, I believe that this zigzag SEO plan will surely hamper the ranking of the posts.

    Could you please look into the issue and help me at the earliest.

    Hi Michael,

    I had to ultimately change the permalink to post and only then it worked. But, that was not the case when I was using Yoast SEO. So, yes now the category does not appear in the URL and that’s because I have disabled it from permalink and not because of the Strip Category option of your plugin.
