Hello,
The sitemap has a cache, but I don’t have a cache plugin or cloudflare cache enabled.
I have previously had 2 other sitemap plugins and have never had this problem.
Can anybody help me please? this is a terrible problem for google sitemaps.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math.
Could you please share the sitemap URL in the sensitive data section?
Alternatively, you can flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDpLooking forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I did that hours before, and I think it only worked for a period of time (about 1 hour) after the cache came back.
Hello,
Please check if you have a sitemap file in your root folder which is being loaded.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello again,
I have updated the WordPress version, and I have also updated to the latest Rank Math version and the problem persists. I have also checked that there is no conflict with another plugin.
I cannot give access to my website, but if you help me through Teamviewer I can make a small donation of $ 30 in about a week, as soon as I receive a payment in PayPal.
Hello,
Thank you for following up.
Unfortunately, our support scope does not extend to team viewer sessions.
Have you tried contacting your host if there are other server-side caching app that is caching your sitemap? You can also make use of this KB article to completely exclude your sitemap from being cached: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
If the issue persists, please let us know so we can further investigate this. Thank you
Hi Jeremy,
I have used two other sitemap plugins for many months, and I have not had this cache problem, I only have the problem with the Rank Math sitemap.
I don’t use cache plugins, and I don’t have Cloudflare’s cache enabled either.
I don’t know where the problem may be, but I’ve been trying to find it for more than a day.
I just installed the WP-Rocket plugin, I have added the following lines to avoid the cache:
/(.*)sitemap(.*).xml
/(.*)sitemap.xslBut the problem persists. I am desperate, I think I will have to uninstall Rank Math, and it is the seo plugin that I like the most of all.
Hello,
Thank you for keeping in touch and we apologize for the issue you are facing right now.
Allow me to forward this issue to our developers. We will get back to you with a solution very soon. We appreciate your time and patience.
Thank you
Hello,
We are sorry but without the logins – it would be hard to determine the issue.
You can create a staging site for us so we can test things in a safe environment without affecting your live website.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Solved, the problem was in the Rank Math plugin.
Hello,
We’re glad that you got that sorted.
If you do have another question in the future, please feel free to create a new forum topic, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.
Thank you.
