Special characters in Homepage Meta Description

    Hello,

    Special characters are not supported in “Homepage Meta Description”? characters like this “&”.
    I noticed that the Rank Math text changes a bit the text after adding such a character, an “amp” text appears after that character.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    & amp; (without space) is the entity character code for & (ampersand). We convert & to & amp; so that Google or the browser doesn’t misinterpret the & to other entities beginning with the character &.

    Google can easily understand the entity characters and there’s nothing to be worried about.
