  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please make sure that you have set the pages/posts to “No Index” so that they will not get added to the Sitemap.

To set No Index for a specific post or page, you need to edit your post and then scroll down to find Rank Math SEO settings below your post. Click on the Advanced tab.

In the Robots Meta section, you will find the No Index check-box.

If they are already set to “No Index” then flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

Also, exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

If the issue persists, please let us know the affected URLs, so that we can assist you further.

    Thank you

Added no-index tag in all pages

and I’m not using any cache plugin but still, issue same,

And I also deleted some pages from my site but in sitemap still showing.

    Please help to solve this.

    Hello,

Could you please share some affected URL/s to check further?

Meanwhile, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Ensure you’re using the latest version of your plugins/theme including Rank Math.

    2. Exclude your sitemap from being cached from server-level. You can get in touch with your web host for assistance.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > [select the post type] and ensure that the option “Include in Sitemap” is turned off.
    sitemap

If that option is already turned off the sitemaps are still there, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello Team,

    Any update?

    Hello,

This issue seems related to some caching on your website. Since you are not using any caching plugin this could be happening at a server level.

We would recommend that you get in touch with your hosting provider and ask if there’s any sort of caching happening on your website that could be causing this issue.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
