Some Javascript files don’t seem to be minified

    Hello,

In the analysis test at Rank Math, it is written that certain Javascript files do not seem to be minified. What specific files does it refer to? Is there such a thing and if so how could I solve this problem? https://i.imgur.com/czIiz8e.png

For optimization, I have two free plugins, Autoptimize and WP Fastest Cache. Do I need a special plugin to minimize Javascript files or a premium plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

These are externally generated files, and you may not have an option to minify them on your site. In this case, you may have to ignore this test.

Please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

Sorry but I do not believe that. I have tested several times another site similar to mine that uses the same theme and it seems fine there. I did the test with Rank Math on both sites.

I’ll give you that site if you want.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

The JavaScript file is the Analytics Tracking code, is the Analytics code installed on both these sites?

You can remove the tracking code and use the Flying Analytics plugin to install the minified version of the tracking code:

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

I don’t know if the Analytics code is installed on both sites, because the other site that uses the same theme is not my site, https://javgg.net/. But there it shows that javascript is minimized.
Analytics code is added on my theme settings, here https://i.imgur.com/rkG4RhH.png and here another code in my theme is added https://i.imgur.com/CJ6Y5aj.png.
The other site uses the same rank math plugin.

So do you recommend deleting the code from the theme and inserting it in this plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/flying-analytics/

    Thanks!

    Hello,

If you want to use the minified version of the analytics code then you should remove the analytics code from the theme and use the plugin to add the minified version.

After that, please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Flush SEO Analysis Data and run the SEO Analysis again.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to your update.

But “Global Site Tag (gtag.js)” I left it there in the theme. I transferred the tracking code to the plugin.
“Gtag.js’ is still in the theme.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

If you still can see the file and it’s coming from your theme we recommend that you get in touch with the theme provider and ask for instructions on how to remove that.

We don’t have any control over the markup that is generated by themes and as such, we can’t provide further insights on how to disable this specific JS file.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions related to Rank Math.

There is no Analytics code in my theme now, but the problem still persists.

    Hello,

I checked the URL with https://rankmath.com/tools/seo-analyzer/, the JavaScript warning is no longer showing up:
    warning

Please clear the SEO Analysis cache by going to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Clear SEO Analysis
    analysis

Once done, clear the website and browser cache and re-run the SEO Analysis.

That should fix the issue. Looking forward to helping you.
