  • Dear Team,

i get an error that one picture has no alt attribute:

This image was deleted from the media but the error still comes up but the picture should not be taken into analysis.

    What might cause this?

Please see the link in sensitive data section.

    Thank you for your reply!
    Kind regards
    Lennart

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked your page and the specified image seems to appear when you check the page source, please check the screenshot I have added in the sensitive section.

If you are sure to have removed the image then it is likely your page is being cached. You can clear you cache then check if the image is still showing.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

thank you for your quick reply.

I did empty the cache and reload the page but the picture still seems to be there.

Its definitely not in my media files anymore :/

Any idea how I can get rid of it? So strange….

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello,

The image seems to be showing up on your homepage. It is likely you had included the image on your page and even though it’s deleted in media folder, it still has a reference on the page. You can head to the page and edit it to find the image reference.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
