Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
I checked your website’s source and I was unable to find the og:image
tag. Many social media platforms including Linkedin uses the OpenGraph tags to fetch data from your website.
You can set the OpenGraph thumbnail, from your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta. Please see this screencast for a quick reference: https://www.loom.com/share/9b6a0f575e4a4a6588dffc0581eae565
For more details, please refer to our tutorial guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/titles-and-meta/#open-graph-thumbnail
Please set the OpenGraph thumbnail and try sharing your homepage again and see if the issue is fixed.
Also, you can use a tool like imgur.com to easily upload and share the screenshots link here.
Please let us know how that goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
I already have an image present from before here. You should see it in my settings. Since I have a logo present I am not sure why it is not being fetched.
Thanks.
Please see the sensitive data for temporary no password login access.
The OG title matches the rank math suggestion of 1200 x 630 pixels
the home page section, it does not let me see any data in the rank math plug in and I have to edit the meta data in the backend of the home page.
i have added the temporary log in details in the sensitive section
Hello,
Thanks for providing the additional details.
I was able to login into your website’s backend and I found that you’re using a much smaller image than the recommended size. The image that you are using for the thumbnail is 306X128 whereas the recommended size as you already said is 1200X630. https://i.rankmath.com/eCagGC
I tried to use a recommended size image but your website gave a timeout error and now it seems that the login link is already expired. Please try using an image of the recommended size and see if that fixes the issue.
You need to add the recommended size image at Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta: OpenGraph thumbnail and also on your homepage. As you are using a static homepage, please follow this screencast to add the social shareable image: https://i.rankmath.com/2STWqD
If that doesn’t help, then It would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Please let us know how that goes.
Thanks.
I have added the photo in again at the recommended page. the user details should not have timed you out as I have created this 2 days ago for another open ticket I have, please find it in again.
Even after inserting the new photo at the correct dimensions,I am not sure why it is not working on LinkedIn.
I have just tried it on Facebook and it works perfectly fine.
Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up, and sorry for the delay.
I’ve checked your site using LinkedIn’s post inspector tool, and it seems that it is already working fine. Please see the screenshot in the designated sensitive data section.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance.
Ah yes, it is working now. Amazing! Thank you 🙂
