    Hello,

    I am having trouble with my WordPress featured image for posts when shared on social media, for example, through Facebook chat.

    I see that in the Rankmath plugin there is a social section, and it recommends the photo size to be 1200 x 630px. This is exactly the size image I am uploading to the social section of your plugin, on the posts page, but the image is still severely cropped when shared.

    Please can you help with this?

    I’ve checked the link you have provided, and it seems that the image is already showing fine. You can also check your website using this Tool. Please see the screenshot in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    It is also the image set in your website as per the page’s source. Could you confirm if that image is correct?

    Hello.

    I can see from your screenshot that the image is shared correctly when posted to a timeline or reshared, but when sent through facebook chat for example, it is cropped badly.

    How can we fix this?

    Thank you for following up.

    The image is correctly set up and the response code is 200 (ok) in the Facebook debugger tool. I’m afraid that we cannot control how the open graph image will show in Facebook chat since they already set the standard open graph resolution which is image size 1200 x 630 pixels.

    Well it’s not solved, because the Facebook chat still crops the image, but you say there’s nothing you can do about it?
