Hi Alberto, I’m afraid the feature is still not working for me (and hasn’t for weeks, in fact I’m not sure it ever has since I started using rankmath). Nor has it been working for my wife, or anyone else who’s tried to share any posts from this site, or another site I’m using rank math on.

The issue you are facing is pretty common with W3 Total Cache users. The Gzip compression option is causing this issue so you must disable it from W3 Total Cache.
After that, just clear the cache and test it again. If the issue persists please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

@Ed Goldswain, I was able to access your site. I cleared your cache and had the debugger scrape your URL again. I have attached a screencast of your site test, you have not set a social preview image so the link is picking up your page featured image.
@Mirela could you please try the same. if the issue is still there, please share some affected URLs with so we can check from our end.

Thanks for the update Michael. I’ve just tried posting that same link onto facebook, and none of the info or the featured image is pulled through to the post. Not sure how to upload an image here I’m afraid…

The issue seems to be related to smush plugin. You can test this by disabling the plugin and checking if the image shows as expected.

I’ve just looked at a second site of mine that had the same issue with RankMath – data/image not pulling through to social previews, and it doesn’t use Smush. I have deactivated all plugins except RankMath, and the issue still occurs. I’d added a sample URL from this site in the sensitive data.
Update. Social media preview is now no longer working, despite Smush being deactivated… which is weird, as deactivating Smush 24 hours ago seemed to fix the issue.
