  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the featured image not appearing when sharing your post on Facebook. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this:

    1. Check if you’ve added Facebook/Twitter sharing images: Ensure that you have added the appropriate sharing images through the Rank Math Meta Box. You can do this by going to the post editor and checking the social settings.

    2. Verify Image Dimensions & Format: Make sure that the image you are using meets Facebook’s requirements. Facebook supports jpeg, png, and gif formats for Open Graph images. The recommended image size is 1200px X 630px. If your image is too small or too large, Facebook may not display it correctly.

    3. Set a Default Open Graph Image: You can set a fallback Open Graph thumbnail in your WordPress Dashboard by navigating to Rank Math → Titles & Meta → Global → OpenGraph Thumbnail. Click on Add or Upload File to set your image and then save changes.

    4. Use the Facebook Debugger Tool: After making changes, you can use the Facebook Sharing Debugger to scrape your URL again. This will help Facebook recognize the updated image.

If you follow these steps and still encounter issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
