    Hello,

    I’ve been trying to share on social media some posts. Whatever I do, the image associated to the card is always the feature dimage of the posts.
    I trie to not put anyhting in the SEO/social tab in elementor, or to set up a default image in the rankmath plugin, clearing my cache, but it is always the featured image that ends up being shared.

    Here is the example of a post (https://the-crypto-post.com/lido-finance-earn-safe-easy-6-eth/) with an image in SEO/social tab in elementor defined (just “the crypto post” homepage logo). But according to https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator, it still remains the featured image.

    Any hints ? Did I miss something ?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve checked the URL, and I’m assuming that your featured image is the .gif format file. However, you mentioned that the image you used is the logo from your homepage, which I assume is this image.

    If so, please note that Open Graph only supports image/jpeg, image/gif, or image/png.

    You can also check this link for the standard image file extensions supported by Open Graph:
    https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/#images

    Once you have already set the correct image format, clear your website’s cache and check again.
