I’m using multiple plugins for wordpress (rank math, woocommerce, flatsome) and every item in my shop has a short description which is what the Rank Math SEO uses for it’s product rich snippet.
Every short description begins with a bunch of nonsense words like “GLUTEN FREE – VEGAN – DAIRY FREE” and then ends with product details like “500g”.
These “extra” words at the beginning and the end of the description look very messy in the SEO google search, but I can’t remove them from the short description because it’s important to the shop’s aesthetic and changes I make to the short description change how they appear in the shop.
Is there a way to define a start point and end point of where the SEO should get the description data from?
For example, “GLUTEN FREE – VEGAN [description]Information about the product[/description] 500g”I noticed an “Edit Snippet” button but it didn’t let me do anything.
Back in the day, I would just copy and paste the relevant information into a <meta name=”description” tag, but I have no idea where to find the <head> to put it into
