Snippet Not Saving

    Hi,
I duplicated one of my products, changed all the info for the new product. The Snippet shows up as changed on the back end, but not on the front end. I flushed cache, but not sure what else I can do to fix this.
Here is the new product that still has the old snippet: https://startcrochet.com/product/unicorn-baby-lovey-crochet-pattern-pdf/
The new snippet should read: “This Unicorn Baby Lovey Crochet Pattern PDF will help you create a magical and snuggly keepsake perfect for baby gifts, nurseries, and cuddles.”
    Thanks in advance,

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the snippet not saving correctly. It seems like you’ve already taken some good steps by flushing the cache. Here are a few additional suggestions you can try:

    1. Check for Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can interfere with Rank Math. Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

    2. Theme Compatibility: Ensure that your theme is compatible with Rank Math. You can refer to our guide on making your theme Rank Math compatible for more information.

    3. Re-save the Snippet: Go back to the product edit page and try re-saving the snippet again. Sometimes, a simple re-save can help.

    4. Inspect Schema Markup: Use Google’s Rich Results Test to check if the schema markup is being generated correctly on the front end.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will take over and assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Thank you for your suggestions, but I’m not very tech savvy and wouldn’t know how to check these things. Could I please speak with a human? Thanks!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We checked your page and we can see Rank Math has properly added the meta title and description there:

In this case, can you please share where you don’t see the updated meta description? You can also share a screenshot with us using a tool like https://imgur.com/upload so that we can check this further for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi there,
I just published a new product, wrote the snippet, but it shows as blank on the front end even though I can see the snippet description in the RankMath back end.
Here’s the link to the product: https://startcrochet.com/product/unicorn-baby-hat-crochet-pattern-pdf/

The snippet text should read: “Crochet a cozy Unicorn Baby Hat with this easy-to-follow crochet pattern PDF—perfect for baby gifts, photo props, or handmade treasures!”

Please let me know how I can fix this as soon as possible.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

We’re unable to see the flower you’re referring to.

If you mean that the meta description should show/display on the frontend, then it is not how you add content to your site.

The meta description field in Rank Math usually fetches the first 160 paragraphs from your content. If you want to modify/update the content displayed on the front end, you should do it using your page builder.

However, if you’re referring to a different front end, please share the screenshot where you see it. You can upload screenshots using this tool and add the link here.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
