Sorry for the delay.
This issue happens in the backend because the CPT doesn’t include editor support:
When this happens our functions are not able to properly run in the preview but all the data will be added to the source code of the page on the frontend.

I’m sorry to inform you that this issue cannot be the problem, because we were trying to edit the home page, that do not use cpt, neither anything more except elementor pro.
Maybe this will work for us in our cpt, but in the home page?

I logged into your website’s admin area but was unable to replicate the issue with the homepage of the website. The meta description preview is shown without any issues.
Please have a look at the screencast in the sensitive data section of this ticket for a quick reference.
However, the information provided by my colleague is true for any post type that doesn’t include the editor support. If the editor support is removed from a default post type, you can notice similar behavior there as well.
The meta description preview and the character count are shown only when the editor support is enabled. However, though the preview is not shown, the data is saved properly and Google would be able to see it without any issues.
You can test the URLs using this tool and see if the updated meta description is shown:

If you wish, you can enable the editor support for the CPT and that should fix the issue.

Hi,
Yes we know it saves, but all tge data that rankmath give us to help to improve SEO is not updated. We can use other seo plugins to reach the metadata, but your plugin gives us extra features that we do not want to lose.
If you see the video that we sent in the first talk, you can see what we are talking about. It is the homepage and the data is not displaying properly, not saving and showin us the info in the rankmath.
Please check again, the issue still occurs.
BTW will you take care of the problem with cpt without the editor? Because we use it a lot to give our clients best experience when they need to upadate something in the website without giving they extra texts blocks, just the form that they need to insert data.
We keep at your disposal for further explanations if you need, but the homepage have editor and everything, and still experiencing the issue. Just look at the meta data, change a character and update it. You’ll see that the data will not display (Yes it is saved and showing up in the browsers, but we lose all the rank math features)

This issue with the meta description disappearing from the preview only happens on pages with no editor support as we mentioned before.
If you are seeing this happening on the homepage, please record a screencast with the exact steps to reproduce this so we can continue debugging.
